Organize your trading data with a unified tagging system. Tags work across trades, executions, journal entries, and ledger items, giving you powerful cross-referencing and filtering capabilities.

Free Account Required - Create a free account to create and manage your personal tags.
Overview

Tags are user-defined labels that help you categorize and organize your trading data. Unlike fixed categories, tags are flexible - create as many as you need with custom names and colors.

Where Tags Work:
  • Trades - Tag completed trades by strategy, setup type, or outcome
  • Executions - Tag individual entries and exits
  • Journal Entries - Organize your trading journal by topic
  • Ledger Items - Categorize income and expenses
Key Benefits:
  • Cross-Reference - Find all items with a specific tag across different areas
  • Analysis - Filter analytics by tag to see strategy-specific performance
  • Organization - Keep related items grouped together
  • Flexibility - Adapt tags as your trading evolves

Creating Tags

Create tags from the Tag Management page or inline when adding tags to any item. Each tag has a name, optional description, and customizable color.

Tag Properties:
  • Name - Short, descriptive label (up to 50 characters)
  • Color - Choose a color for visual identification
  • Description - Optional notes about when to use this tag
  • Active Status - Deactivate unused tags without deleting them
Best Practices:
  • Keep tag names concise and consistent
  • Use colors to group related tags visually
  • Add descriptions to clarify tag purposes
  • Start with a small set and expand as needed
