Topstep Launches Free Training Camp Video Series for Beginner Futures Traders

Topstep has introduced a new Training Camp video series aimed at traders who are new to futures markets. The company says the program is free, built directly into its platform, and designed to walk beginners through the basics of futures trading in a lower-pressure practice environment.

According to Topstep's February 19, 2026 blog post, the Training Camp beta includes short lessons on chart reading, trade planning, execution flow, and risk management. Topstep also says the material is guided by Senior Performance Coach John Hoagland and includes hands-on practice in a simulated environment rather than live capital.

The new training content appears to be part of Topstep's broader onboarding funnel. The firm positions Training Camp as an entry point that helps traders understand the path from initial practice to Trading Combine, funded accounts, and eventually live-funded opportunities.
