These commission schedules show the per-side or round-trip trading costs, including exchange-style fees, used to mimic what trading the same futures contracts would cost in a regular cash brokerage account.
Apex publishes separate commission schedules by platform and separate help pages for optional market-data add-ons.
General Policies
Algorithm & EA Policy
Algorithmic, automated, and bot trading are not allowed.
Apex prohibits automation, algorithm usage, AI/autobots, and other hands-off trading systems executing preprogrammed logic.
Copy Trading
Not allowed

Shared accounts, multiple-user access, and third-party trading are prohibited. Corporate accounts require majority (80%+) shareholder as the designated trader.

Business Entity Accounts
Allowed
Microscalping Policy
No explicit microscalping rule; exploitative flipping/size-cycling behavior and high-frequency trading are prohibited.
Bots Policy

Apex prohibits automation, bots, AI/autobots, and other hands-off trading systems.

DCA Policy

No explicit DCA or martingale policy surfaced in the current official materials reviewed for this firm.

Allowed Trading Hours
All trades must be closed before 4:59 PM ET. It is the trader's responsibility to ensure the account is flat before 4:59 PM ET. Apex will not take responsibility for trades left open through market close. Agricultural markets must be closed earlier: Livestock (HE, LE, GF): Must be flat by 2:05 PM ET. Grains & Oilseeds (ZC, ZW, ZS, ZM, ZL): Must be flat by 2:20 PM ET. All other markets (Equity, Currency, Energy, Micro, Crypto): Close at 5 PM ET.
Move to Live Criteria

Consistency constraints are stricter early in PA lifecycle: safety-net rule applies to first 3 approved payouts; 30% windfall consistency rule applies until the 6th payout or live-account transfer.

Rule Enforcement Notes

Key prohibited activities and risk management requirements for all accounts:

STOP LOSSES REQUIRED: All trades must have either pending or mental stop losses
and a well-defined risk management strategy.

NO HIGH-RISK STRATEGIES: Small profit targets with disproportionately large stop
losses are prohibited (e.g., 5-tick target with 150-tick stop).

NO USING DRAWDOWN THRESHOLD AS A STOP LOSS: Traders may not absorb large losses
by using the full trailing threshold as a stop-loss mechanism.

HEDGING PROHIBITED: All accounts must be traded directionally. Holding opposing
long/short positions simultaneously on the same or correlated instruments is
strictly prohibited. This includes: trading opposite directions in micro and mini
contracts of the same market, spread-trading correlated indices (e.g., long ES /
short YM), and holding opposing positions in correlated markets across multiple
accounts or within the same household.

NO STOCKPILING EVALUATIONS: Purchasing multiple discounted evaluations to cycle
through and intentionally blow up accounts in pursuit of windfall profits is not
permitted.

PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS: Strategies must be consistent with what the trader would
use in a personally funded account at a registered broker.

LEGACY RULES NO LONGER APPLICABLE TO NEW PLANS: The 5:1 risk-reward ratio rule,
30% maximum adverse excursion (MAE) rule, and the legacy half-contract scaling
rule do NOT apply to the new Intraday or EOD Trailing Drawdown accounts.
New plans use 50% payout consistency (not the legacy 30% windfall rule).

Refund Policy

No refunds. Apex does not refund wrong plan selection, platform or data errors, stuck orders, or add-on services like Market Depth or extra session logins.

Activation Fee Policy

PA activation supports monthly or one-time lifetime pricing (platform and account-size dependent). Once selected for an individual PA account, fee type cannot be changed.

VPN Policy
VPNs, proxy servers, cloud servers, and anonymizing tools may not be used to conceal identity, device, or location or to evade rules or geographic restrictions.
